I was very disappointed in how Kay handled the home birth of my son. She was not as attentive or compassionate as I would have hoped. I also question some of her decisions about how to deal with complications that arose. Even after the fact, she completely invalidated concerns that I had about my recovery, which turned out to be an infection and pelvic floor damage. I honestly would not consider a home birth or Kay Johnson for a future birth.
