My son saw Dr. Blackman in May for new glasses as he had recent change in his left eye and thought he needed new prescription. He was prescribed new glasses but they didn’t help and my son went back to be sure they were correct. Told he needed time to adjust to new glasses. He called me still complaining and I advised him to see my ophthalmologist ASAP which he did and a retinal detachment was diagnosed and he was sent immediately to retinal specialist. The missed and delay in diagnosis significantly reduces the expected outcome. Most would consider this malpractice. I would advise against seeing Dr Blankman or Meier Optometry.
