Keith Kaut, MS

I initially came to Keith because of his experience with drug and alcohol counseling. In the two years we've been working together I have also found him extremely helpful in regard to my ADHD and anxiety. He is very personable and insightful, but I think the most beneficial thing that has come from our sessions is the CBT skills I have learned. He has shown me techniques that I can (and do) actually use in my life. It makes me feel like I'm not just dumping feelings on someone but I'm actively working to improve myself. I appreciate Keith for this and I would definitely recommend him to anyone that is willing to put in the work!

Sometimes, opening up to a stranger is difficult.. with Keith, there is no difficulty whatsoever. He has helped me tremendously with my troubles over the past 10 months.. I’d recommend anyone speak with Keith.. I love the guy.

I've been seeing Keith for just about a year. He's by far the best therapist I've seen, but he's also just a really down-to-earth and good person. He always helps me to reflect on the progress I've made and allows me to address my emotions much more objectively. He listens really well, and I feel safe and comfortable sharing with him because he does not judge me for my feelings, regardless of how bad I think they may be. He has taught me how to use coping skills to improve my anxiety and depression. Overall, I would recommend him to anyone looking to improve their emotional well-being.

I've been seeing Keith for several months and he has helped me with my mental health troubles immensely. He always has good feedback and ideas of things that could help me when I talk about how I feel with my mental health as well as general life stuff. Very good at catching me on bad habits and doesn't make you feel bad about them. Empathetic and very knowledgeable.

Keith has helped me learn more about how my anxiety works and what tools I can use to lessen it. My anxiety has improved dramatically. I'm also more assertive and my communication has improved in pretty much all my relationships.

Keith has been very helpful in my mental health journey. He holds me accountable for my actions and helps me regulate my emotions. He’s very relatable and makes me feel comfortable to talk about different topics that I am not always confident speaking about. He never shames me for my thoughts or feelings. He genuinely listens to everything that I tell him; good or bad. I always look forward to our visits. I’ve made more progress mentally and emotionally in the short amount of time that I have been seeing Keith than I have made in all of the years that I have gone to therapy overall.

I have been working with Keith for almost two years. He has been a great help through many ups and downs, and I could not recommend his services more.

Highly wouldn't recommend seeing this counselor, I was a new patient and was lost trying to find his office and called twice no answer left a message stating i'm trying to find my way home i'm sorry i'll have to reschedule my appointment. When I finally found my way back home 2 hrs later. Mr. Kaut called me and was very rude and unprofessional about what happened even after I explained to him. He told me he is done with me and said obscenities to me and hung up the phone! I never met anyone so rude in my life! Please stay for away from this counselor!
