Kelly is compassion, knowledgable, skilled therapist who runs amazing grief groups. She hard handle the hard stuff. She has a contagious laugh and lots of resources. She's super caring. And knows her stuff.

Kelly is an excellent therapist who helped me process my trauma. She used progressive counting to reduce my symptoms and address the things I needed to work on. Without her empathy, genuine caring and guidance, I am not sure if I’d be in such a good place today. When I later had a family member diagnosed with a terminal illness, she helped me process my grief and understand it would be a continuing process. I am truly grateful for all her help in therapy

I’m a former client of Kelly Daugherty’s. Her lack of appropriate professional boundaries caused me significant harm. For the sake of her current and future clients, Kelly should complete training on the harm caused to clients by therapist boundary violations, and also undergo a professional review by the NASW.

Impossible person to get in touch with by phone. Insists upon communicating through email. I told her in a reply email to her on a Friday that I would rather speak by phone and she told me her next available time slot to call someone would be "next Wednesday" because she was busy. She told me in email that she would be on vacation for 3 weeks coming up and when I mentioned that to her in a subsequent reply email (see what I mean about all these emails?) she denied saying it. Maybe she forgot saying it? She also said she wouldn't have an in person place to conduct therapy in until October. I loved what she has to offer in her profile but dealing with she herself was extremely disorganized and very stressful. An appointment was never made. She seemed ideal in her profile but not easy to coordinate with. I wish her the best. We never did speak by phone. I got the feeling she is trying to put something together again since Covid shut down so many businesses. I wish her the best.
