Dr. Kenneth Deseve, PHD

I highly recommend Dr. Deseve as an exceptional psychologist. I have had the pleasure and benefit of receiving counsel from Dr. Deseve for many years in both couples and individual sessions. Dr. Deseve is very wise, kind, and honest. He consistently demonstrates that he really hears and sees me as he responds to my unique situation and needs. He is outstanding at recognizing, even when I don't, what is at the root of my particular difficulties I bring to the table, and he asks questions that gently, yet effectively, help me unearth what is hiding under the surface. Once issues are identified, Dr. Deseve is patient and careful to move at a pace that is healthy and safe for me. This is critical since I have received counsel elsewhere which caused additional trauma due to too fast a pace. Dr. Deseve is helping me heal from my past, live in my present, and grow into the person I want to be. I am eternally grateful for his service and care.

Dr Deseve is one of the most caring, empathetic therapists I know. He walked with me thru my journey as I tried to make sense of childhood abuse and the residual scars it left, helped me understand my responses and was ever supportive. Tough when I needed it, understanding and open minded when I talked of pain. You cannot go wrong choosing this man as a resource and therapist. He is very very good at his job.

I've been seeing Dr DeSeve for 23 years and he's helped me tremendously with life's challenges. In the past 6 months, I've been seeing him via telehealth video visits and it feels like we haven't missed a beat. It's easy to use the software, it's very convenient, and I feel like I get the same great service and care he's always given me.

I cannot speak highly enough to Dr. DeSeve's integrity, expertise, therapeutic approach, and genuine personal presence. This is saying a great deal given I came to him highly skeptical and deeply impacted after suffering professional misconduct from a prior therapist. Building trust was paramount from day one.
