A-fib diagnosed as respiratory infection
I went to OSF OnCall urgent care on March 9, 2022 due to shortness of breath and severe fatigue. I was diagnosed with a viral upper respiratory infection. I was told to wait 5-10 days, and to follow up with my primary care physician if I didn't improve. After 10 days, with only limited improvement, I went to see a primary care physician. She listened to my heart beat, and told me to go to the emergency room immediately, where I was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation.
