My original MD of rheumatology no longer practices, and he understood me and took time with me, APNP, Baker, was easy to talk to, and listened, and did not force medications on me, he let me make my own informed decision, but supported me in any way he could, I as a long term complicated patient appreciated that with much respect. I know it's hard in the medical field to hope that your doing what you know how to do effectively, listening, showing empathy, and compassion is #1, Trust will follow. Thank you NP, Baker for taking the time to HEAR ME!

Please listen to what your patients tell you esp regarding physical symptoms. Don't dismiss or explain away problems just to move on a little faster to the next patient. We would not come to the doctor if we didn't need help.
