Very lacking in professionalism. She couldn’t stay neutral as she was counseling all of us individually, my husband and I as a couple, and me, my husband and adult step daughter together. It felt as though she was pitting all of us against each other. Each time we left a session there was only more conflict without resolution. She couldn’t remember what was said from one session to the next. Wasn’t very attentive during sessions. Very damaging therapy. Our family is now divided.

Kim is an wonderful therapist. She helped bring understanding and peace to our family situation. Her calm and empathetic personality helped defuse many tense moments during sessions.

She uses sarcasm, makes little remarks or hints from others appointments/emails making us (family group) uncomfortable with opening up to her. Eye contact seems to make her uncomfortable and it makes it seem that she's not listening. She has name called. She seems to be following a book rather than actually hearing our needs and working with that. I left considering suicide after my last visit with her. We actually got worse as a group seeing her. Our new counselor is amazing though!
