Kimberly Thompson, PMHNP

Didn't prescribe me the adequate number of meds we talked about, and had to reschedule to get them; however, they cancelled my appointments and called me the day off to come in early.

I went to go see Dr. Kimberly Thompson for an evaluation and I felt very dismissed by her. I felt rushed and like I wasn’t being listened to. I only spoke with her for less than 5 minutes and she had already made up her mind about not diagnosing me. I spoke with her assistant or something for about 10 minutes prior to her entering the room. So about 15 minutes (if that) total speaking with them. I think she had other patients to see since my appointment was at 10:15 AM and they didnt see me until after 11 AM.

Kimberly has been great to work with. She cares about the patient and seems super knowledgeable about medication options.

As stated on other complaints, Kimberly is aggressive and rude. Aftrr letting kim know about 2 deaths in the family, I was kicked out for saying NO COMMENT., when SHE said what did you say? SHE THEN SAID I CAN'T TAKE THIS THIS MORNING. SHE PUSHED ME OFF ON ANOTHER PROVIDER. I WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE WAITING ROOM, WHERE I WAITED ANOTHER 15 MINUTES. AND SAW A PRESCRIBING NURSE FOR MY RX's. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT THAT WILL BE FILED WITH THE TEXAS MEDICAL BOARD. SHE FALSELY CLAIMED NO TO ESA

Kimberly is extremely aggressive. She interutputed Crystal, PA that was in the middle of my assessment and began harassing me. I told her she was making me uncomfortable and she threw me out of the office. I am traumatized and will not be returning. I left the office in tears while the office manager consulted me. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Kimberly is extremely knowledgeable about medications and she truly cares about her patients. She also made sure she gave me a presciption that not works but is affordable. I went to 4 other doctors/specialists before her for my bipolar disorder and she was the only one to take the time to get to know me and make sure that she put me on the right medication. So far feeling great and blessed. I'm so thankful.

Terrible experience. This person doesn’t care about the people she treats or the difficulties they have to go through. Bottom line. Would never recommend her to anyone.
