She Violated My Trust
Kourtney was my provider from 2019 - 2022. She was my follow up provider after an extended hospital stay. She engaged in negligence and along with UMC, failed to inform me that I had sepsis and SIRS while in the hospital. This alone prevented me from making medical decisions. There is no excuse for violating a patient's right to be informed of the nature of their illness. I spent two years trying to understand what was wrong with me and immediately after release from the hospital and on oxygen to live, this provider was more concerned about doing a pap smear to procure funding than she was about my failing health. This is shameful on her part.
