Great Backup!
Having experienced an Acoustic Neuroma brain tumor, resulting in loss of hearing on the left side, and getting a BAHA, I was left hearing-impaired. Dr. Downey has helped me so much with gaining hearing improvements through fitting hearing aids to the right side and is a very patient and knowledgeable audiologist.

  • Appointment wasn't rushed
  • Trusted the provider's decisions

Had a hearing workup. My test results were sent to my primary physician. I asked the nurse for a copy when I went. To my surprise, she had made a comment that basically said I was exaggerating my hearing loss for material gain. What does anyone have to gain from hearing loss? This broad is crazy and ought to have her license pulled! I’ve never seen something so unprofessional documented on a medical record. I’m getting copies of everything from now on. Who knows what these people say.
