After 4 years of struggling with unexplained aphasia and being assured I was fine by multiple different neurologists, I finally had a grand mal seizure and it was only after going to Dr. DeMaria that I was properly diagnosed with epilepsy. She is direct, thorough, and takes no bull "you-know-what"! It is such a relief to find a female neurologist who won't just write off my concerns as overreactions or hormonal imbalances, and I can tell that Kristen genuinely cares about her patients. She has taken all of my concerns seriously from day one and I am so relieved to have found her.

Telehealth
I was sent to Kristen Demaria a few years ago. She has seen me several times on Telehealth. She is very personable, makes the time and listens, would help in other things if given a chance, and accurate!

She was very rude, indirect, and unconcerned with my health in our shortened, virtual visit. It was ultimately very difficult to discuss my symptoms with her, as she upheld a quick, hostile, and almost judgmental temperament. Seek other providers if possible
