I left one year of therapy with this woman with more trauma than I went in with. She gossips about other patients in session and complains about her personal life in session. She suggested that I tattoo myself to cope.

What a waste of time and recourses. First session all she did was complain about money with her insurance carrier, and how hard it was to get paid. I'm under so much stress, the last thing I need is listening to her problems.

My 15 yr old child was referred to Kristin from another therapist when my child got out of inpatient treatment. My child needed once a week therapy sessions & I asked Kristin if she could fill out FMLA paperwork so on the times that I needed to take my child to therapy appt I would be able to get off and no points would be added to me at my job. I had never filled out FMLA paperwork before. She said she couldn't fill out paperwork for me that I would have to get with my dr to fill that out. I told her that I was my child care provider and would have to get off of work in order to take my child to the therapy appt. Then she went to say she needed to fill these out now b/c she doesn't get paid to fill out these forms. She was very RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL. I just needed the paperwork to be filled out for intermittent times when my child needed to go to the therapy appt. I told her I would get the other dr to fill it out she said good luck with that. She again stated she doesn't get paid

Kristin Hornsby made an appointment that was confirmed and then canceled at appointment time, via automated email. We had to send paperwork twice and then she refused to even speak with us but could text during the original appointment time. She also lied about availability. If you need someone dependable and trustworthy, this is not where to go.

Appointment scheduled, followed all protocol as directed including paperwork, insurance information, confirming appointment and when it came to appointment time, Kristin Hornsby canceled the virtual appointment saying the appointment was not confirmed although it was in writing/type. At the time this first appointment was scheduled, there was discussion of regular visits and when a request was offered to Ms. Hornsby to resolve this issue, she did not have appointments until after the New Year.

Some of the things that come out of this lady's mouth is shocking. To tell me my old therapist abandoned me because he referred me to Kristin since he only works with eating disorders and I needed someone to help me with other things is disgraceful. If you judge someone that is being ethical and not practicing outside their scope of practice and made the referral to you, I can only imagine how judgmental you are about your clients.

Kristin is great! She listens and asks questions. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients because she cares!
