Kristin Renauld, MA

Kristen Renauld seems to be a amazing person. I say "seems" because I haven't been able to see he yet. I will tell you my experience. I called her late on a Friday (7pm first time calling). I got her V.M. but that was expected. The very next day (Saturday) in the morning she called!!! We spoke for a half hour or more. One of my first questions was when can we come in? At this time she was booked for 8 to 10 weeks. the reason I'm explaining this is I said "we need help much much sooner" I asked can you refer us? she said yes absolutely" But still wanted to know about us and hear my story. Kristin really seems to care and be honest along with wanting to help people. If we didn't need some help sooner. I would be happy to wait. Who knows we may still go. I had a great conversation with Kristin and really appreciated her time on a weekend (A beautiful sunny one at that) So Kristen thank you! Sincerely Justin

I've been seeing Kristin for several years off and on as needed. She has helped me with marital issues, family or origin issues, grieving, and other more general personal issues. I like that she is more than just a good listener or empathetic, which she is both of those things. She is also very knowledgeable in her field and uses that knowledge to challenge me and help me grow. It isn't always easy or fun, but I am definitely better off for it! I would and have recommended her to friends and loved ones!

Helped address seemingly unresolvable issues and bring them into a realistic and managable prespective. Firm yet understanding ..... really helped to face the realities of our situation, recognize our individual limitations but also our combined capabilities and options to impact it. Very very helpful and effective guidance.

She was not helpful and I believe actually hindered my relationship. I have since used other therapists and had much better results. I would recommend looking elsewhere

So so so lucky to have found Kristin. As is often the case when a couple starts therapy, our lives and marriage were in crisis. She helped my wife and I completely rewrite the scripts that had plagued our relationship for years. And individually she helped me to discover a greater understanding of myself and the areas of my life needing the most of my attention. I looked forward to every session and grew as a man, husband, and father with each one.

I was referred to Kristin by a close friend who had been seeing Kristin herself. My husband and I saw Kristin both together for couples session, and individually. I can honestly say that we are married and thriving today because of the kind, direct, and empathetic counseling we received from Kristin. I felt she had a great combination of listening, insights, and practice tools we could use. I have, and will continue, to refer friends to her without hesitation.

My husband and I got marriage counseling from Kristin a couple years ago. Each time we went we got nowhere and nothing improved in our relationship. We took a break and found a new therapist and finally got the help we needed and our relationship improved greatly. She is nice but not a good Councelor. Try someone else for the sake of your relationship.

Kristin is amazing. She has helped me sort out so much while I am dealing with divorces and several other changes in my life. I have discovered things about myself I never saw. She does not let you play victim, rather she helps you see there are healthier ways to handle things and why. I am so thankful I found her. Highly recommend her!

In my experience Kristin Renauld offers guidance of ordinary, non-professional, quality. At less than the level of a reasonably educated friend. Does not listen well and is easily sidetracked, which will cost you more frustrating visits. She also has few ideas and uses labels, despite warning patients not to do the same. Hundreds of dollars later and no better off than before. Look elsewhere for direction.
