I the nurse practitioner Kristy Smith in Harriman last week for a lump in the right breast and tenderness. She found a lump in the left breast also at that time. Her office never put in an order for the mammogram and then put me off when I called and asked about it today. According to the office manager ,Marsha, also turns out that the nurse practitioner never charted the left issue even though she discussed the lump with me. Neversent in my prescription for my Vitamin D at CVS. Then the office manager had a nasty attitude when I told them I would be finding a new physician. Nobody ever said they were sorry for the mistake. All they could say was “I understand your frustration”. As a nurse I am appalled! I have an appointment with a new physician to say the least. I was taking this well until today. After this morning I just sat down and cried. Surely this cannot be what healthcare is! How is this allowed to happen? Lack of actions can be deadly in healthcare. Avoid this office!!
