Kurt Smalls-Walker, FNP-C

He was attentive, caring, and optimistic. He made me feel safe, respected, and empowered. I cannot recommend Kurt Angus Smalls-Walker enough. I have never felt so seen by a practitioner.

Do yourself a favor and pick any other pain clinic. Pain management is important and this office won't answer their phone. I've made 2 requests over a weeks time through mychart, I've called all 3 locations over 40 times. I'm a daughter trying to help her dad and if you have a loved one that truly needs help.. please take your loved one anywhere else. I'm so disappointed in you and tour staff Dr. Smalls.

Kurt Agnus as they call him, doesn't listen to the patient. When he walked into my appointment- he asked me why I was there, and before I could complete my information, he proceeded to tell me that's exactly what he has experienced and I needed to have XYZ procedures and left the room. The next thing I know the aide walks I with papers and that was it. My husband has been receiving treatment by Dr. Mosallaie, and I have been to with him at his appointments, and Dr Mosallaie takes his time to go over everything along with answering questions. On one of my husbands follow ups we ended up with Kurt Angus and we experienced the same as my appointment, he is short and it's about him. My husband had a procedure scheduled with Mosallaie, and he received a phone call the day before stating he needed to do a video conference with Kurt Agnus.. Kurt was 25 minutes late for the call and all he asked was: Do you need any medication refills. 30 second and call was over.

He does not listen and writes completely incorrect notes. Tried to push meds that wouldn’t help my symptoms, mixed pronouns, referred for incorrect body parts, and I could go on. The first and last time I will be seeing him.

I am a pretty tough girl, but I actually feel traumatized after having him as a practitioner. I even brought my husband in with me one time to try to work out a conflict I had with the care he was providing. He was rude & shockingly arrogant. My husband is not a macho type at all, did not antagonize him, just wanted to ask a few questions, with good reason. I hope that kind of thing never happens to someone vulnerable and already in pain. Sometimes things look so perfect on the outside, but not at all what they seem. Also, some things that they had said my insurance covered, it did not, and I was stuck with a huge bill.

I have been seeing Angus for quite awhile. He is prompt, caring, and professional. He listens to my concerns and he addresses them. I would highly recommend him.

I've been seeing this provider for a while now. Kurt Angus Smalls-Walker has been great at educating me with what's going on in my body to be causing my pain symptoms. I am still on my journey to become pain free but I have already seen a significant reduction in my pain and am working with him to take the proper steps to properly treat my remaining conditions. He is a very talented and caring provider who really wants to take care of his patients. If you are looking for pain management I'd highly recommend him!

SEEING ANGUS FOR THE FIRST TIME WAS BY FAR THE BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD WITH A PROVIDER. HE WAS VERY THOROUGH, AND ANSWERED EVERY QUESTION I HAD. HE TOOK THE TIME TO GO OVER EVERY DETAIL EXPLAINING IN DEPTH SO THAT I COULD UNDERSTAND. I HAD PROCEDURES DONE AND HE MADE SURE I WAS COMFORTABLE AND AT EASE. I WILL BE RECOMMENDING HIM TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

I really enjoyed my visit with him. He has really helped me! When I first started seeing him I was about a 9 in pain and now I am feeling great! He is super friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone.

Not impressed at all especially when he said he is an advocate of marijuana.

He is very rude and would not recommend seeing him as a pain management provider, I saw him at Integrated Pain Consultants in Scottsdale, I will be seeing another provider.
