I had an appointment to be seen as a patient, I had just been diagnosed with a rare life threatening autoimmune disorder in the Lupus family- and was in and out of the hospital. I was desperate to be seen and get stabilized and we were turned away saying it was an error on the receptions part. I was desperate and crying because getting this important could be life or death for me and the Damage done to my cartilage. I could hear in the back him turning me away because I should instead see whoever they consulted in the Er instead. If patient care and people in desperate need are not a priority- then why are you a physician? Why are in patient care? Look up relapsing Polychondritis and imagine if that’s why your wife or daughter was facing this diagnosis and no doctors would help!
