Larry French, LMFT

My husband and I met with Larry for couples therapy. We met with Larry weekly for four to five months. During our sessions, I found that we had little time during our sessions to explore the root causes of our communication problems. Each session was the same: my husband and I would talk about what occurred since our last session, Larry would tell a story from his own life, Larry would give us a handout, and Larry would end the session with a prayer. That was it. Larry did not even follow up on the homework from the previous session. After several months of a predictable pattern, I voiced my concern that my husband and I were "stuck". Larry was unable or unwilling to try any other therapeutic techniques to help us to view our problems any differently. I was exasperated. My husband and I eventually dropped out of therapy because of the lack of progress. I would NOT recommend Larry to anyone who is in need of couples therapy.
