Dr. Lasonia Barlow, PSY.D

We had an appointment scheduled for a MONTH and a few days before they canceled and then told us “for our inconvenience” they would schedule us for another day. How is that for our inconvenience? This appointment has been on the books for an entire month!!! The convenience would have been to not cancel the appointment I had in your books for a month. My schedule is just as hectic as yours and my time is just as valuable! Gave them a chance and NOTHING changed. Had an appointment scheduled for 2 weeks. They asked contacted us saying they had an earlier appointment open up. We couldn’t take it because we have tight schedules. They txt the confirmation and the time was an hour earlier than our appointment. We txt back stating that our appointment was at 2 not 1. They text RIGHT BACK saying we have to come at 8am or reschedule even though their very last txt (even wrong) said 1pm. THEY REALLY NEED TO GET RHEIR STUFF TOGETHER! I wish I could post the pic of the txt feed!

Our therapy session was great however, the every time we have had a SCHEDULED appointment, this office has canceled or rescheduled it. Then tried to tell us that if THEY schedule an appointment (2 weeks out) on a Saturday, they can change it at their discretion. I wish I could post the txt threads. They are horrible at keeping her books and you can tell that they are not the type of people that require their schedules to be stuck to as professionals. As much as I hate to have to do it, I will be finding a new therapist because I can not deal with the unprofessionalism of the front office staff.

Imagine being able to share your deepest secrets without judgment but being given validation to your feelings. This is Dr. Barlow, this is how she makes one feel in her office. She's prompt and accommodating. She's loving and kind. She's that rare big sister, friend, cousin, mentor and mother that you feel so comfortable disclosing to. Dr. Barlow is a jewel of a christian therapist that helps you to become free of bondage's through her dedication, love, support and counsel. I would give more stars if I could.

Very patient, understanding and easy going. I was very skeptical about counseling but she has made this experience great.
