Laura Brandt, PA-C

I waited over 2 months for this lame excuse of an appointment. Rushed, unthoughtful, and disregarding. $150 down the drain. I was asked a concerningly small amount of questions regarding my skin, history, diet, habits, etc. etc. Doctor acted as if she was being timed throughout this appointment, whole thing lasted about 9 minutes. Unfriendly, disregarding, and quite frankly a waste of my time and money.

Dr Brandt took her time examining with lighted magnifying glass. Taking pictures of possible problem spots with her assistant taking notes. Have had her freeze off a problem spot in previous exam. Felt she took the time needed for a complete exam.

If you need help for your skin don't see Laura Brandt. She doesn't care about you she is super uncompassionate. My daughter has eczema and went without insurance for about 6 months and the flare ups wouldnt let up. So we paid 350 for office visit. Might as well thrown my $ in the trash. My daughters body is raw and bleeding, head to toe cant even shower and Laura Brandt told her to take a bleach bath and put topical ointment on it. She said my daughter needed insurance in order to get the meds she needs so I got insurance before her next appointment. When she returns with insurance the office was hostile towards her and told her they need reschedule because they couldnt figure out her ins, so I call back with the ins info and they say yes she is covered so the morning of the rescheduled appt they called and said that she wasn't covered but she can pay cash again. The insurance co sent me a list of physicians that are covered and her name is first on list.

Terrible experience & waist of my time. I arrived at my appointment and was greeted with hostility and was told I was late, although I was there at my appointment time. The receptionist continued to scold me and tell me I missed my appointment. Meanwhile Laura Brandt and the other doctor were lurking in the background watching the interaction. This doctor appears to be ok with me possibly dying of skin cancer then see me at my scheduled appointment time. This office & staff have no human decency, this is a business first & healthcare is second! For shame, don’t you realize people have to take off of work and wait months for these appointments? Veterinarians treat their patients better!

No, I would not recommend her. I couldn’t see my regular Dermatologist in the practice so ended up with her. I was told I’d have a full body scan when I scheduled the appt. In the past, they used a light to scan my body. When I asked if she was doing this, she told me she would be doing it with her own eyes. She had on a face shield and the lighting in the room was awful. Cold reception when entering room. Did not even try to connect. She was rigid and did not make me feel comfortable at all. I tried to make small talk just to make the exam a little more comfortable. She acted as if I was wasting her time by being there. I was handed a summary of my visit describing a list of information she says she consulted me on and frankly she consulted on 2 items on the list of about 6! Seemed annoyed when I asked any questions. She hardly spoke to me. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a Provider or person for that matter that I don’t connect with.

I had a great experience with Dr. Brandt and my daughter. She listened to our concerns, had a good rapport with both of us and provided a great treatment plan. We didn't feel rushed. The front office staff was very nice and we had no problems with scheduling.

I've never felt so blown off by a provider in my life! Laura was quick to perscribe a new drug but took no time to listen, had a hand of the door and barely looked up from her IPad, I left in tears and $150 poorer.

I had a painful pre-cancerous lesion on my lip. After wasting time with other doctors mis-diagnosis, my lip condition was only getting worse. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Brandt, I was diagnosed & treated in a week... Not only does my lip look & feel 100% better, but I feel relieved that I found such a personable & COMPETENT DOCTOR.
