She was okay within her skill set, but she couldn't see from a male perspective and wasn't genuine enough. Despite her experience in pain management, she "advised" me to quit my job and give up my visa when I was suffering from the work-related hand injury caused by Mr. Scrooge, my former boss in UC Davis. A vacation turned into despair! It turned out the injury due to overuse cannot be cured, in any country! Her toxic advice based on escapism caused me to lose my source of income, health benefits, legal residency, my ability to fight for my rights or return to the US. I lost everything... Mr. Scrooge was so happy when I told him I was not coming back —he's not liable for my long-term suffering! I have been stranded in a horrible place for years due to the disability, pain, as well as various new mental and physical health issues. In retrospect, she was either ignorant or manipulative by giving me false hope. I regret choosing her as my therapist. Davis is not worth it.
