Laura has a very calm behavior. She listens attentively and tries hard to resolve problems.

After my surgery during a follow up appointment Laura warned me to watch my weight or I would give myself more problems with my back. She was right and I wish I had listened. Now I'm back and I need help, but this time I will listen, she knows what she is talking about.

Answered all of our questions. Very thorough in covering all aspects of my diagnosis and treatment options.

Everything goes smooth with Dr Russo and his staff.

My visit was great. Laura was attentive and professional. Sometime later, I called for a refill of my pain meds (I was about out), and was told by a staffer that Laura had said that she would not refill it. I think she would have let me know this at my follow-up appointment. She did not. I am deeply disappointed at the poor communication.

Laura Stevenson is an excellent PA. She is smart, kind, patient, and professional. I saw her for a two week checkup after spine surgery. She clearly and patiently explained what Dr. Russo had done to my back, why he did it, and what I could expect going forward. She answered every question that my wife and I had and anticipated some that we didn’t ask. I highly recommend her.

Ms. Stevenson provided a very thorough examination looking for symptoms and complications of spinal stenosis as indicated by the MRI report. She explained the tests, as they were performed, using clear, concise and easy to understand language. I was very nervous prior to the examination. Her professionalism and concern for my well-being put me at ease.

Last surgery was 4 years ago. Different and worsening leg pain brought me back here. Diagnosis was quick. MRI revealed new issues different than last time. Laura was very through and compassionate. I highly recommend if you’re suffering from any spinal issues.

I saw Laura due to worsening leg pain caused by spinal stenosis and other issues with lower back, diagnosed by an MRI 2 years ago. I've had an appointment with Dr Russo, who recommended minor surgery to relieve the issue. At the time, I opted to wait as I was able to tolerate the pain. The appointment with Laura this week was due to worsening symptoms. She listened to my complaints and answered all of my questions in a straightforward manner. She used a diagram to explain the surgical procedure and discussed the tests and appointments necessary prior to surgery and restrictions following surgery. She was easy to talk to and I did not feel rushed nor ignored. I would recommend Laura to anyone seeking help from Dr Russo's staff.
