Bed side manor is completely horrible. Questioned all my decisions when I was in labor and argued with me about everything I was choosing. She was so incredibly rude. She was asking me things like "Do you even want to be a mother?" "Are you depressed?" "Do you want to die?" All because I am a DNR. When I said I have been in enough codes as a CNA she LAUGHED at me and said I did not know what I was talking about. So rude that my mother had to step out of the room because she was so offended. I would rather never seek healthcare than have to deal with this woman ever again. She should not be employed as a midwife and she should not care for pregnant patients. Completely horrible. I hope she leaves the practice. Mile High OBGYN would be much better off with out her. I hope to God I am the only one that has experienced this because if she does this with other people it is completely unacceptable.

I had an overall decent appt. Ultrasound tech was a sweetie! Front desk was very welcoming. And my MA was amazing, loved her. I do feel like maybe families who have married partners may not get as many prying questions and side eyes as single mothers, in this practice. I felt a lot of judgement coming once my household demographics were given but overall was a decent appt.

The best experience!
I’m 36 weeks pregnant and have met with a handful of doctors. Laura Sweeney is my favorite. Her energy, knowledge, attention, and care have by far been the best I’ve experienced. She took her time with me; I didn’t feel rushed; and made this first time mom feel seen.

I had my first pregnancy appointment with Laura Sweeney and it was nothing short of a disaster. We waited in the exam room for 30 min. and when Laura did arrive, it was obvious that she was not prepared (had not read my chart, didn't educate herself on the patient she was about to see). She struggled to retain information, and even forgot my name at one point. I had terrible morning sickness and was obviously struggling with nausea that day, and Laura was cold and unempathetic. I shared vulnerable and personal information with her about my past, which was met with judgment and shaming. She appeared to be annoyed from the very beginning of the appointment and her bedside manner was awful. As a mental health provider, I was shocked and disheartened by her level of care. No patient should ever be treated the way I was by this provider, and I am considering leaving the practice altogether because of the experience.

New to Colorado, so I was a little nervous finding a new doctor. I am so relieved that I found Laura. She was absolutely amazing. I had a lot of questions and she never rushed me and she was very knowledgeable! I highly recommend her and the clinic staff was great!
