Lauren Fisch

While a warm, energetic, and bubbly person in character, Lauren Fisch - who I saw online, through the therapy office, Talking Works - presented herself as under-qualified to offer therapy. She rambled in a frenzied tone, constantly interrupted what little bit of speaking I was able to do, and also listed out the ages and issues of all of her other patients, which felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. I recognize that, coming to the field from another career, she is new to practicing therapy, however, in my opinion she needs to fine-tune her skills (listening, confidentiality, meditative demeanor) and until then is a liability to the industry, a reckless driver on a path that one must enter with deep attentiveness, slowness, and care.
