Lauren Torkilsen Hennessy, PA-C

Went in for an initial adult well-checkup and she was very professional and personable. Judging from her photo in Fairview's system I was worried that she was overly young and inexperienced but don't let the photo fool you, she seemed perfectly experienced and knowledgeable.

She was very nice, but she missed a pink eye infection when we took our son in to see if he had an ear infection. When we took our other son in a different time, her advice came off as a little condescending/insulting and it was hard to trust her assessment after missing the pink eye previously.

Lauren is a keeper. She listens carefully, takes a collaborative approach, like more of an adviser than a decider, which is by far my preference. Her giving me "the business" about my willful ignorance of blood pressure issues and unhealthy lifestyle (poor diet, no exercise) really helped me turn things around and stop being negligent about my health. I would recommend Lauren to anyone!

Very friendly and she listen and understand our concerns and try to get to the bottom of the problem. I went for a blood test only and i explained what happened and she asked a lot of questions and made notes and suggested another approach to my problem, which the other doctor didnt even bother to do.

I would not recommend Torkilsen because I didn't feel she is capable of treating or handling patients in a right manner. During my visit, she didn't treat my symptoms on her assumption that I didn't have any infection. I insisted that I have because I knew very well what was going on with me based on my history. She didn't listen to me so I didn't get any RX that my condition got worse. She was useless and should not be seeing patients with upper respiratory infection because she is inexperience

Incredibly kind and caring provider. The most down to earth provider I have ever had. I will never see another provider if possible. Seeing Lauren is like having a friend help you through whatever is going on. She is the best!
