I worked intensively with Laurie to rehab a near amputation of half a finger in 2016. She was such an encouraging and supportive presence in my recovery and she pushed me to do the hard and painful work that needed to be done to regain as much use of my hand as I could. I have been very very pleased with my long term healing, and I think of working with her gratefully still, over 4 years later. She used a lot of different therapies, and she worked on my scar tissue like a boss too. Hand therapy is a lot of time, it's hard work, it's uncomfortable and for me, was often pretty emotional work. Laurie was a pivotal part of my healing. Thank you Laurie!
