Lawanda was my social worker for a few months when I was a teen in foster care. She did not treat me or my siblings well and was especially disrespectful to my parents. She really made what was already a very difficult experience for all of us incredibly more difficult. I hope that she has changed since then and wish her the best, but I do really wish our family had gotten assigned another social worker sooner.
