Lena is that rare and compassionate doctor who can not only diagnose your medical issues, but she tries to find the source of your condition. She doesn’t just prescribe a medication. She sincerely tries to help you heal. If you’re looking for health and healing and not just a RX this is the doctor for you. She has helped me with my pain and given me my life back!

Healthy and in my 30's. Went to see Ramirez for stomach issues thinking possible gall stones. Within 30/45 min I was told I might have pancreatic cancer and was sent out the door with orders for labs and an MRI. She told me she would call when labs came in. Fearing I had cancer I called as soon as I received my labs (5 days later) and she was on a 2 week vacation. Her office had her call me and she was confused as to why I wanted to talk to her. I had two levels from my labs come back abnormal but she told me that that it was minimal and everything was fine. No suggested follow up appt to figure out what was going on, nothing. Fast forward 2 years later and those abnormal levels that were fine have turned into a bigger issue and she should have looked into them then. She missed what was right in front of her while shooting for the stars with absolutely no basis for her possible diagnosis other than stomach pains.

Dr. Ramirez has changed not only my quality of life, but my husbands life and also the quality of life we will give our children. For years (over 10 years to be exact) I have suffered from pain, fatigue and multiple other medical issues that were brushed off by myself and multiple physicians as just being a bi-product of working a highly stressful job and taking care of 4 small children and a sick husband. We first saw Dr. Ramirez for my husband who had been misdiagnosed for a thyroid condition for nearly 3 years. My husband insisted I see her after she began treating him. After my first visit and listening to how I felt, not brushing off my history as normal "mommy" fatigue and pain, with one series of blood tests (along with a long history of blood tests) she was able diagnose me with a pretty serious life-altering diagnosis. She has been there for us every step of or health journey and beyond. Words can never express my gratitude for Dr. Ramirez.
