Leslie is god sent for a lot of us trying to navigate through this confusing system this state has set up for medical cannabis. I drove from Des Moines to Ames and Leslie welcomed me into her home office where we began discussing the benefits of medical cannabis. She is very easy to talk to and wants to help. Among the best I've ever seen! Leslie was kind, patient, and a fantastic listener. She was kind and supportive to not only us, but to the other staff working there that evening. She really cared about us and what we had to say. She asked great questions and answered all of ours. She was calm during a very stressful and frantic time. She quickly looked the situation over, acted promptly, and truly saved a life. We're convinced had it not been for her experience and skill, things would have ended very differently. She's exactly who you want in your corner when life throws a truly emergent, life-threatening situation your way. There is no way to thank someone (a perfect stranger up until that moment) who was there 100% when you needed them the most. I know she had many other people waiting to see her in the ER at that time, but she never made us feel rushed or that our situation was not the highest priority. Patient was flown to another hospital. 2 weeks later, was sent to rehab. Amazing!

She is the only provider I have been to who really listened to me. She is really smart (without talking down to you) and has so much experience, too. She was able to explain everything to me in a way we could understand. You can tell she used to teach. It comes in beneficial for her patients. She is very compassionate, as well. She asked if we had any questions and answered them all. She even let us know she would be at work for another 12 hours, and that we could call her back with other questions. She helped us set up follow up care, which I have never had another provider do. We were really scared when we came but she helped us and it was very calming. She and her staff were just fantastic all the way around. I only wish she worked in a clinic and took regular patients, because I would really love for her to be my doctor. She's amazing!

I was struggling for sometime to find a provider to help me obtain my medical card. Thankfully I was put in contact with Leslie and she made the process so much easier and explained everything for me. When my health declined and I was needing my wavier increased she was able to assist me right away and got my paperwork sent off in a timely manner! I am very thankful for her attention to detail and her kind heart for caring for people!!!

I met with Leslie not too long after I had a 2 level cervical fusion. I have also had a fusion at L5-S1. I have lived with SO MUCH pain for so long. I met with Leslie and immediately felt comfortable. She helped me understand the guidelines under the Iowa Department of Public Health. I easily qualified and with her help I had my state card in 48 hours! Further, about a year later, I received some bad news about further deterioration of some discs in my back. I contacted Leslie and she immediately went to work on my behalf, teaching me the steps to apply for a waiver. She even provided the paperwork for me to fill out. Not only is Leslie an efficient worker, it is evident that she cares and has a kind and loving heart. She knows her profession and she advocates for her patients in their best interests. Someone I love is an addict. She managed her addiction with a med called Suboxone. Suboxone is also addictive and comes with a lot of side effects. When my partner eventually came off of Suboxone, she became suicidal, had intense opioid cravings and anxiety, and was physically ill as well. Leslie worked with her—including making time at 7 pm on a Friday night—to get her med card renewed to get help with the symptoms. Having sat with my partner through this, and having seen the condition she was in, I honestly believe Leslie’s actions are sparing her a relapse or worse.

She is very professional and nice and understanding to medical needs.

Very unprofessional

Horrible! She is just awful! Rude and completely unprofessional. Avoid being seen by her at all costs. She should not be in the healthcare field and definitely should not be allowed to see patients.

She is rude, arrogant and demeaning. Treated us like trash and scolded us. I will never go there again because of her horrible behavior. She makes negative assumptions about people with no knowledge about them.
