Lillian Browning, NP

Being a young woman, my experience with Ms. Browning was very traumatizing. It was one of my first times going to the gynecologist, and she was verbally aggressive with me. She kept saying "oh stop crying, this doesn't hurt you" and "you're lucky because I'm one of the most gentle OBGYN out there". It was an awful experience for me because I was a 19 year old girl who's never experienced penetration. After the exam I was trying to calm down and she looked at me and said "What have you been raped or something?" in a very disgusting and unprofessional tone. I left her office that day in tears, never wanting to go back to her or any other OBGYN. I'm 23 now, and to this day the thought of going to an OBGYN makes my body shiver. I wish that I would have reported her sooner, or told someone what happened to me in her office, but she's definitely left a permanent scar on me. I'm telling my story now because this is unacceptable behavior and no woman should feel violated by another woman.
