Lina Kay, PA-C

I cannot disagree more with the below review. Lina is efficient, knowledgeable and to the point. She had prepared and already obtained my ER Records and had my DX and treatment plan right away when seeing my in person. I would absolutely recommend her.

Ms Kay has a propensity to assume she knows what’s going on before meeting the patient, evaluating labs, and simply does not listen. I think she means well, but does not have the competency or capability to treat patients in a medically appropriate manner. She is very combative if asked any questions. I just can not recommend.

Lina Kay is a fabulous Dr. She is very caring and always takes the time to understand my specific situation and provides first rate advice. I always recommend her to people I care about. She is top notch.

All I need to say is that both Dr. Shapiro and Lina Kay saved my life in two occasions. I have been in their care for many years, as well as some of my family members with similar gastric issues. Over the years, Lina Kay has always answered my questions with sincere care and understanding. We all feel as she is a part of the family. I wouldn't take my care anywhere else.

Miss Kay is a highly volatile and rude person with absolutely no redeeming qualities. She is constantly belittling other doctors within the family and saying that I need to go to a naturopath, not a Gastroenterologist. She purposefully put me on supplements that would aggravate my symptoms and when I told her that she said that I didn’t know what I was talking about. I will not pretend to be an easy patient, I suffer from severe trypanophobia which she belittled and used to demean me and say I “wasn’t doing anything to help” myself. She constantly treated my family and I with disdain and contempt and I wish I had known AZ was a one party consent state so I could have recorded the incredibly rude and dismissive treatment received for the state medical board. Please do not seek out this woman or Shapiro as she is constantly in his ear and he will not see you himself after your first visit, so you deal with her and the rest of his highly rude staff.
