My initial impression was that she seemed somewhat insensitive and was far too opinionated to be a mental health provider. Recently, I asked if she would authorize FMLA for two weeks for severe emotional stress related to multiple, highly stressful events. She agreed, but only during a scheduled appointment. She made me make three 40 mile round trips to her office and pay $60 in copays, just for her signature. Regardless, that this was a HUGE inconvenience. No empathy, she just wanted the money.
