Linda Ploude, MSW

I was referred to New Horizons by Aetna EAP. Linda Ploude the Director of Behavioral health at New Horizons was extremely unprofessional. She and her team are unorganized. As medical personnel I was surprised she would blame the patient when my appointments were cancelled several times due to her staff mistakes. The adminstration did not do their job several times. My first appointment was never entered into their system. I called the day of my appointment and received a busy signal. I called back multiple times and even had another office call them to see if they could get through. The 2nd appointment was cancelled a minute before the scheduled time. Then I was switched to Brittany Settipane. I have to say I do question her credentials as she was silent most of our conversation and told me I needed tell her what my diagnosis was. I explained I had never been formerly diagnosed but previously I was told I may have anxiety. At that time I was not able to look into it further but wanted to now. She said she could not help me and Linda would be a better fit. I was then told a week later no one would be helping me at any New Horizons by Brittany when I called back to follow up on the appointment with Linda. Long story short my entire experience with Linda and New Horizons was 3 months and I received no help. I was told I gave no insurance information. However I was referred by EAP (Employee Assistance Program through Aetna). I called EAP and was told they have a contract with New Horizons and had sent out documents to them with the authorization a month ago. It is clear New Horizons staff is incompetent and unable to keep with normal procedures. I would recommend no one seek help of any kind for Linda or Brittany.
