Lindsay Cambre, LPC

Lindsay wrote a report that portrayed me as an unreasonable co-parent. I was elaborate in my answers to her questions during the sessions, but in her final report to the court, she extracted partial statements, omitting the context and the full explanation in an attempt to portray me poorly. For instance, she stated that 'I will go to trial if she recommends that I give up domiciliary authority'. Ms. Cambre was clearly attempting to portray me as an unreasonable control freak in my interactions with my ex. The full context of my answer to Ms. Cambre's question, which she cherrypicked and left out was my stability as a parent compared to mom’s instability which made her unfit to be the domiciliary parent. I also clarified that as domiciliary parent, I have been practical, respectful, and inclusive of mom. Because of those key facts, I would not agree to a change and I would go to trial if it were recommended. A half dozen similar key omissions of context were in that report to smear me.

From a quality of therapist standpoint, Lindsay is outstanding. She was easy to talk to from minute one and, boy, did we throw her a doozy. She always came prepared and make a concerted effort you know YOU. You really felt like you were her only patient because she took the time to get to know you and everything about you. But ... do NOT "call in sick" for an appointment. After seeking Lindsay every week for months straight, I became violently ill with a stomach virus overnight that I had to go to urgent care for. I called at the crack of dawn to the line saying I won't be able to make my appointment today and will reschedule and - wham - I am hit with a $75 fee. Dozens and dozens of on-time appointments prior but the one time I get ill and call out I get a fee. Call me petty but I immediately terminated my relationship at that point. It stopped being about help right then and became about money. I am still shocked to this day about the situation. Be sure to call 24 hrs if sick!
