I have had oral thrush for months, my throat, esophagus, and vocal cords hurt a lot, and she knew this, yet despite this, she wouldn't get a culture of the fungal infection, refer me to the ENT or prescribe more diflucen. If only a single one of these things was done, or anything to help treat thush or diagnose thrush was done, I would be satisfied, but instead I'm in tears. I said that I have to sing as the choir director and that I lost an octave in my vocal range and would like help to treat it for just one week before easter, she laughed at me. She doesn't seem to care about me, or my career. All she told me is, 'well I don't know anything about singing.' I have lost a whole octave in my vocal range and now I'm lying in agony all night and can't sleep. She was insistent that I don't have esophageal thrush, so she tested me for strep and still didn't get a culture of my throat despite that I've been on antifungals for almost a month and had continually recurring oral thrush. Help me
