I completely recommend Lisa. She is able to bring humor into the therapy. She's been helpful to my family. My only issue is that she only dies in person and we have to fight a lot of traffic to get to her. But I love that she's in person. I highly recommend her!

This therapist was not a good listener and asked me the same questions over and over when I had already answered them. Her office was super dirty with empty bottles of water stacked in the corner. It was obvious she did not really care and oddly got up in the middle of the session to check the time LOL. Please don't go see her.

Very personable and deeply observant. Over the years she has been consistent with her kindness, care, advice, grounding help, and goes the extra mile in and out of sessions. She has given me space and tools to advocate for myself more. Highly recommended.

Horrible experience. Lisa is impatient and lacks insight during meetings. Most conversations would have empty pauses with minimal informative direction. I wish I had seen these reviews in advance but she was the only therapist available on short notice.

I have been receiving counseling from Lisa for almost a year now. For me, she is very attentive, helpful, and caring. She knows what I am going through in life and not only cares, but is helping me through life. Some of our conversations have been relatively deep, and I feel comfortable sharing my history with her because I know she will only help me. I would recommender her to anyone I know who is in need of help.

She's a very poor listener, dull and not insightful, doesn't ask questions, and means to cut sessions short. I could call up a bad friend and I would get this experience for free. She doesn't care. I went into therapy discussing my goals and concerns, but she rarely asked me questions or gave any insight. And she asked me if I wanted to end the session short. No, I want good, engaging therapy. I don't want to hear, "Oh, okay" or "Oh that sucks" all the time without any follow-up. It really seems like she does not care. I'm 26 years old and told her I'm applying to grad school in 3 years, and she ignored me and asked me if I took the PSAT (high school) or if I applied to FAFSA. Completely irrelevant. She didn't even ask me questions about my motives. She has teenage sons and other clients that age. I am paying her to give me guidance, not for her to hear my guidance. I rarely give low ratings but she is quite pathetic.

A good therapist is a listener, observer, and adviser. A great therapist can be all three and knows when to be each. Lisa is a great therapist in my opinion. Many people assume a therapist can listen to a problem, provide an answer (quick fix), and they're out in a couple of sessions. That's simply not realistic. A great therapist needs time to understand the patient, get to know what's spoken (listener) versus unspoken (observer) before giving suggestions on a treatment (adviser). Having seen her for four months, I can say she has gone above and beyond my expectations. She has ALWAYS been professional, thoughtful, appropriately concerned, and offers sage advise when it's needed. While everyone can offer negative reviews, I suggest considering that none of those for Lisa, either here or elsewher, offer any details on the time spent or issues covered. My issues are ongoing, medical, personal, and life changing. These are major topics requiring exceptional care. I'm very grateful

Worst experience ever for my teenage daughter. Cold, insensitive, unable to connect. No EMPATHY. Made comments completely out of place that made my daughter not want to come back to see her again. Do not take your kids with her.
