Lisa Berkowitz helped 'solve' my mental health issues. Unlike other people that seemed disinterested or burned out, Lisa was so thoughtful, kind and attentive to my troubles. I wish I had started seeing her earlier I would have been able to get to the bottom of being attracted to toxic personalities. Now it was definitely a journey but Lisa made me feel less stressed. Don't waste your time with other people who just want to take your money and don't know how to be alert when they are talking to you and put on medications that don't help.

I am a colleague of Lisa's and am so grateful to have such a knowledgeable NP to work with. She is caring, patient, and understanding. We frequently work together and collaborate on cases which allows of the best care of the client. She is always willing to go the extra mile.

I am so grateful for Lisa! I am a referring therapist and have sent numerous clients to Lisa for her expertise, insight and availability. It is so hard to find psychiatric medical care and Lisa has received rave reviews from clients who report back to me. She takes her time, is warm and empathetic, and knows her science! I was disturbed to read the review below but also know that Lisa had to leave her previous job under duress and without access to her own client records. For ethical reasons, she chose to work for herself and I am so glad she did. As a private practitioner, I can relate to having worked in work environments that don't allow for best practices. I hope anyone that feels Lisa cut their service short will reach out to her before leaving negative reviews. Lisa spends a lot of time listening to concerns and educating you on various treatment options. She is very knowledgeable and cares deeply. My husband was very pleased with her approach. I highly recommend her.

She adequately explains medication, symptoms, and what I’m experiencing in a manner I understand. I feel like she really listens to me and cares about how I’m feeling and genuinely wants to help me get better. I’ve been seeing her for years and have made so much progress. Highly recommend!!

I have never worked with such a dedicated and compassionate psychiatric professional than Lisa. She is committed to working with her patients until they get better and is very empathetic with a down to earth nature and calming presence that make you feel at ease. She does not provide the typical psychiatric 15 minute meeting where the practitioner does not even get to know their patient. Lisa makes individualized recommendations based on your history and really is interested in hearing about how you are functioning. You are not going to find a more caring, helpful and dedicated PNP or human being out there. Lisa Berkowitz is a rare gem and I highly recommend her.

Lisa took care of both my son and my nephew. She went above and beyond to make sure that they were getting what they needed, change meds when necessary and make helpful recommendations. She was always checking in and her care for her patients was evident. I cannot recommend her enough!

Lisa is one of the most caring health care providers I have ever met. She is extremely patient, a great listener, and very meticulous and thorough in her care. She has been practicing her craft for over 26 years and it shows in both her knowledge and interpersonal skills. I normally would highly recommend this practice, but an np, Lisa Berkowitz, emailed without realizing I was on it, speaking about me in a negative manner. She said I’d likely die by suicide. Reading this was heartbreaking and upsetting, and did set me back. She then apologized for me “seeing the email”. The owner apologized and seemed sincere, but I do not recommend Lisa.

Lisa is wonderful! I found her through a friends recommendation. She does a thorough evaluation including a genetic test which helps her know which medications will and wont work for you. Her knowledge is incredible and she's able to answer all of my questions. Lisa's also very easy to get a hold of if you need to be seen soon, unlike some doctors that you need to wait forever to get an appointment. She has been an amazing help to me and I have recommended her to my friends and family!

Not helpful or knowledgeable about medication

Put me right at ease. She asked a lot of questions to be fully informed about my history. Great listener, answered all of my questions and helped with meds issues. Very happy to have found Lisa!
