When she wanted to terminate working with me, she just dropped hints hoping that I would be the one to leave. Then I had a crisis, panicked, dissociated, and did something I shouldn’t have. She refused to talk to me after that. No conversation with me whatsoever. She had someone else tell me she was done working with me. I asked to have a conversation with her and she refused on several accounts. I am left feeling abandoned, grieving, without closure, untrusting of therapists, among other things. We worked together for 5 years twice a week and she couldn’t look at that one situation from my perspective. She did not think of me, the client, only of how she was affected. She did not act professionally and I am left very much hurting and after 4 months, I still feel she owes me a conversation so I can get closure.
