Lisa Effendi, LPC

I saw Ms. Effendi in 2020. My time with her was not productive, at all. She was detached and had me talk a lot. There were a couple times I wondered if she was snoozing (the room was dim). I hear from people who see therapists that they talk about what type of therapy they will use, what steps they will pursue, and etc. Very forthright. This is not the experience I had. I did a lot of talking, I was to watch for certain things in the week, and I was to do some journaling assignments. I did not come away with anything you would call new insights or breakthroughs or improved habits or ways of being.I do not feel anything valuable really came of it. I'm pretty sure it wasn't me.

Visited with Lisa , she started our visit late and ended early. Lisa will double text to get a reply and then ignore you for days/weeks. Yet to receive a response. For patients seeking behavioral treatment I do not recommend Lisa as you will not feel supported

I've been seeing Lisa from December of 2015 to now (August 2016) and my experience with her this far has been absolutely amazing. I see a huge difference in my ability to handle the struggles in my life and now look forward to my future with a positive outlook. She is an expert at finding the underlying issues and carefully walks you through the process of understanding, and making better judgments. I truly appreciate her genuine support and results driven approach to helping her patients. =)
