I went to Mercy due to a two year old injury. I was referred to PT. I was unaware going into the appointment that is was going to cost almost $400 for an assessment. But they gave me the pricing when my appointment was over. I have a few issues. She never watched me run. She watched me walk once back and forth without shoes. She told me to stop running until further notice. She did my measurement of foot flexes and was rude every time I accidentally used my whole leg to move my foot. She seemed super annoyed. She asked me how I initially got the injury, and it was not from running, and when I started mulling this over out loud, she stopped me and said, I think that you are not being honest with me about where your injury came from so that I don't tell you something you don't want to hear (ie. don't run). And she didn't even give me take home exercises. I went to another therapist at another location who encouraged me to run. She even recorded me running and told me how to correct it.
