Dr. Lisa Graybeal, OD

Dr. Graybeal is thorough. No insurance covers eye photo versus eye dilation, which is covered. These two examples have nothing to do with her work ethic, professional courtesy, and ability to explain extensively. She and her staff provided excellent customer service and care.

Very personable with great knowledge of medical conditions relating to eye health. She took the time to explain them in detail even on an overbooked day.

Will never visit her again. She performed my eye exam at Sam’s club in North Charleston, SC. Exam went fine, but she and her receptionist refused to refund me my “copay” when I discovered that my insurance required no copay. They claimed that the $25 was for the photo of my eye, which I didn’t agree to, I signed for a dilation. They use laminated forms and provide dry erase markers, so the evidence is wiped clean. The form they claim was for the Hippa, “just sign the bottom” was for the supposed fee. My fault for not reading, just trusting the people in position.
