Dr. Lisa Marder, PHD

My experience with Dr Marder was such a positive empowering experience. She is great @ getting to the root of the problem and giving you that AHA! moment. Learned tools to cope with situations. An all around positive outcome. Great knowing I have her in my corner. Highly recommend.

My experience with Dr Marder was very positive. She was empathetic, but not patronizing; direct , but not critical; and took the time to explain certain behaviors, whether they were my own or those of others, and taught me how to (and not to) address/cope. She taught me skills that I could not have learned anywhere else. I highly recommend therapy, especially under Dr. Marder's care.

Dr. Marder is very patient while helping you work through your reasons for seeking therapy. She offers much advice and guidance to help you draw out the thorn and gives you ways of thinking about things in order to not only pinpoint the underlying cause but also to help you accept, forgive, grow and move on. She has been the person I say I owe all the credit to for who I am today. She has given me the tools to change my life and maneuver through life in a healthy, aware state of mind. I have broken generational curses and healed traumas. She is absolutely a gem in my life. I have stopped sessions because of moving out of the state but the lessons and guidance she has taught me stays very much on my surface and has helped me tremendously in the past year since I have been gone. I have and would recommend Lisa. Her professionalism, tough love, intelligence and grace are, by far, everything a psychologist should posses.

Dr. Lisa Marder is a warm, trustworthy, amazing professional with an incredibly unique natural talent for her profession that in my opinion, sets her far above others. Therapy with her has honestly changed my life for the better in every way, and after years of doing so, I continue look forward to my sessions with her.

Making appointments with her is easy. Once you're in her office there is no wait, she's very punctual. I've only heard and read good things about Dr. Marder, I can say that i completely agree with what everyone has said about her. She listens and gives great advise and guidance. In that time she has helped me deal with issues of anxiety, life fears that I've been dealing with. I've been seeing her over a year now and plan on continuing my visits with her for a while more. Highly recommend her.

Dr. Marder is patient and takes the time to listen without judgment, while always offering helpful advice, and a comfortable atmosphere. She makes you feel easy to relate to, but also helps guide towards more effective thinking when necessary. She has successfully helped me through issues with anxiety, relationships, and family illness.

I would and I have recommended Dr. Marder to others. She is willing to work with you in terms of scheduling. Really taking into consideration what works for you. She is brutally honest, answers your questions instead of just throwing them back to you, and offers realistic suggestions and strategies for things you want/need to work on.
