Dr. Lisa Maturo, ND

Dr. Maturo has taken really good care of my menopausal hormones for years and really knows her stuff! She is the best and puts her heart and soul into her work. I always have what I need and have never felt better since I met her.

Dr. Maturo has helped me with my anxiety and hormones for many years. She always makes sure I have my hormones and medications. I am on the least amount of medication for my anxiety that I have ever had to take thanks to the great natural medicine and hormone testing. She is very kind and caring and empathetic. A very caring great doctor! Highly recommend as an alternative Psychatrist.

She wasn’t just inept, she was dangerously incompetent. I had such high hopes for help. She ordered the wrong hormone tests but didn’t care one bit at our visit. I had useless test results yet she refused to reorder the correct ones. She admitted to the mistake but was uncaring and unapologetic. She refused to help with anything, told me it was “all in my head”. I very politely questioned her and then she just completely flipped out and stormed out of the room. It was unreal! I was shocked, confused and in disbelief after witnessing this unexpected emotional outburst by a medical professional. Her receptionist was even worse to me when I came out. She had seen how upset the “Dr” was and must have assumed I did something awful. The aid was incredibly mean and degrading to me. She kept insulting me until I left. Unbelievable experience. I would advise to stay away!

She made me feel like she had other things that were more important. No personality and dead inside. I was assured that she would treat me with compassion, but there was nothing there. She felt angry and it made me uncomfortable.

Dr. Maturo is very knowledgeable about thyroid and peri-menopause. She takes the time to listen and is thorough with regard to explaining the pros and cons of various treatment options. I also really like her staff. They are professional, organized and friendly.
