Dr. Lloyd Schneider, OD

The personal attention and treatment given by both the Staff and by Doctor Lloyd Schneider, was topnotch. As I am somewhat handicapped, the Dr.'s staff came out to assist me in getting out of the car immediately upon arrival. Furthermore, as Dr Schneider's exam room is relatively small, he was extremely accommodating in maneuvering his testing equipment to examine me and make me feel comfortable. Although I had to wait appx 1/2 hr. to be examined, it was well worth the wait, as the Doctor was extremely thorough. I would certainly recommend Schneider Eye Center and Doctor Schneider to anyone looking for a new ophthalmologist.

Wonderfully Optometrist, my family has been going to him for years. Dr. Lloyd Schneider checks your eyes very carefully and reviews prior exams for any changes. Office staff is very professional. Mari the Eyewear Specialist is amazing and the eyeglass lab they use to make the lenses is amazing. I have really bad vision and Mari is very helpful picking out frames that are lightweight. The lenses have to be high definition and high index too be as light and thin as possible and their lab does a great job.

I found the doctor on a Google search, despite the receptionist being quite abrasive when I called, I decided to schedule the appointment. The doctor was excellent, the exam was very professional. On my exit, the same receptionist was abrasive. I called a few weeks later to follow up on needing a different contact lens prescription than prescribed. There was a very inept receptionist with poor communication skills who kept asking the same questions, wasn’t listening and ended up sending me a text for some random date and time without asking my availability. Months later, I decided to try them again only to get a call to come pick up the new prescribed contacts. I’m not told what brand or prescription-so I ask. It’s not even the right one, it was negative and I’m plus. The receptionist blames it on shipments being late due to weather. NO-it’s a continued level of incompetence. Unfortunately, you’re only as good as your supporting staff and they reflect POORLY on a competent doctor.

After 7 years, I can testify that Dr Lloyd Schneider is not only a topnotch practitioner, he goes above and beyond to ensure my wellbeing. Several times he has called me to see how I’m doing, and he works you in when needed. He knows when and to whom to make a referral. His tools are high tech, and his communication skills are excellent. I recommend him without reservation.
