Logan Thrasher, CRNP

I have been on a small dose of Xanax as needed for panic attacks for years and my old prescriber recently moved so I was trying to continue that and the meds I had been on for years. Refused to continue Xanax and offered me hydroxyzine which when I looked it up is given for itching! Xanax works great for occasional panic attacks and I resent being shamed and made to feel like a drug seeker by someone barely older than my son.

We were able to get in quickly which was important for us. Logan Thrasher was thorough and very kind in working with my teenage daughter. The medication he prescribed works well for her and we have continued to see him for over a year now.

Thrasher was nice enough, but not too communicative. He tried different drugs for depression and suicidal thinking, but none were useful, and I had to wait many weeks/months to see any ‘effects’. I feel he didn’t take my suicidal thinking and physical discomfort seriously enough. I worried I’d have to go in the hospital even though I believe they’d make things even worse. He actually claimed I was doing better, mostly contradicting my view. If you think absolute suicidal to mostly suicidal is somehow ‘progress’, than I guess he would be right. But it was mostly trivial and a waste of time. I don’t like Grayson & Associates much. I’ve heard it described as a ‘mill’, and I agree. There seems like 20 people in the waiting room. The staff doesn’t know your name, doesn’t ask how you’re doing, and doesn’t get to know you. The medical records are pretty slow, and there are many separate functions that make it more complicated. Wait times on the phone are usually long.
