Great experience
Very professional office. Scheduling, communication, front and back office all well managed. Dr. Barr is also very good. Took the time for a full exam, explained my options, and answered all my questions. Very happy with my experience.

Fantastic Experience
Fantastic experience! Great communication by their entire staff. Helped me throughout the process. Actually got me in, fitted, and delivered my hearing aides ahead of schedule. Highly recommended them!

Very Professional, Very Friendly
I was noticing that sometimes I could not hear what people were saying to me clearly, and often had to ask them to repeat what they said. After a thorough examination, Ms. Barr identified the cause of the problem, and thankfully it was not as bad as I feared. I have already made a follow up appointment in 6 months to see if the problem gets worse, so I am definitely going back for another visit.

Love this practice
Always friendly and accommodating. Lori cares about her clients and offers superb products. Nora is personable and helpful and wears great shoes! I enjoy going to appointments and know if issues come up, they are dealt with promptly and professionally. I get the best care here and I checked out 5 other audiologists before I chose Sonus. So glad I found them.

My earlier review was about the testing phase. I received my hearing aids two weeks later and was delighted with the results. I went back after wearing them for two weeks and Lori adjusted them. I returned one more time (my request) to do a little "fine tuning" and she was delightful about it. I feel very comfortable and relaxed when I'm there, and Lori and Nora both told me to come back whenever I feel the need. Great team!!

Office is very clean and neat. Receptionist friendly and informed. Dr. L Barr is quite pleasant and efficiently thorough. Location is a bit out of the way. I would certainly recommend to others.

Upon my arrival, I was greeted warmly. Some paperwork had not been submitted by my primary care doctor but staff made an exceptional effort to get the required documents. My examination was thorough and each step was explained as we went. The test results were completely reviewed and recommendations made with chances to ask questions. This is definitely a very professional hearing center.

Amazing! I walked in and was asked how could I be helped. Nora immediately notified Lori I was there. Lori explained the procedure and the diagnosis of permanent nerve damage due to the chemo drug I had, so I would need hearing aids. I would return after my appointment with the ENT. After leaving there,I went to the ENT's office and Nora had already forwarded the results! I would highly recommend Lori Barr and her staff for their awesome customer service and compassionate customer care.

I can't say enough about the positive experience with Lori. I have owned hearing aids (for over a decade) that I got from an audiologist in Montgomery County. Although I was very pleased with that audiologist, the thought of going back down to her office was more than I wanted so I opted to find one in Frederick. Lori is very professional while maintain a very friendly/relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing their hearing checked and possibly new hearing aids.
