I saw Mr. Thomas in 2014 when I was going through a difficult time in my life dealing with incredible loss of my Mother and my cat and a friend of 30 years. My mother passed away suddenly with pancreatic cancer. Our relationship was up and down. I felt extreme guilt and depression. My cat was my life. I had raised her from a 4 week old kitten and she passed away at 18 years of age. I was devastated. I lost a friendship of 30 years as well. Mr. Thomas was not only sympathetic but could empathize as well. He cared. He even worked over his work day if needed to make sure I was helped in an emergency. He loaned me books from his own library on grief and even exchanged his own personal experiences with grief. He provided me with techniques to use in my daily life to assist with my depression and anxiety. A simple thank you is not enough for how much he helped me. I would recommend him to anyone who needs help.
