Luis Anaya, PT

I have been treated by Dr Anaya, periodically over the past three years. I have a chronic back condition and Parkinsons. When I first saw Dr Anaya I was in a wheelchair. Within a relatively short time I was up and using a walker. Eventually I was able to walk without any assistance. My condition periodically deteriorates and a few visits to Dr Anaya gets me back to a relatively pain-free life.

Prior to being treated by Luis, I considered PT as glorified exercise. I now realize that my experiences were not an example of what real PT is like. Luis is thorough and hands on while explaining every step of the process. The only drawback is he doesn’t take private insurance but I understand why. He doesn’t give cookie cutter PT so why should he be reimbursed for that! Can’t say enough good about my experience!

All I can say is Luis can help you when no one else can! He is not your typical Physical Therapist. He spends as much time as needed during his evaluation getting to learn about you and your condition. I have been to several physical therapy centers through the years and I am glad I found Luis. He is my ONLY go to therapy center.

I had a bad fall, broke my kneecap, and had to have surgery to have it repaired. A month later, my knee was frozen and I had to have a knee manipulation procedure. The day after the knee manipulation, I arrived at the Physical Rehabilitation Center on Oakland Park Boulevard to see Dr. Anaya. Dr. Anaya set up a personalized therapy plan for me. His staff was great. After months of hard work, I was out of the wheelchair and walking without a cane. My range of motion improved from 40% to 115%.
