Helped my kid with his bad depression now he is thinking about going to college

Luz is the first therapist that I've had who actually listens to what you need and gives genuine feedback and coping mechanisms. Sometimes my sessions are intense and Luz will use her funny sense of humor to lighten things up. She will also call you out when she knows what is needed in a respectful lighthearted kind of way. Luz is definitely the best therapist I ever had, I tell her after sessions she is stuck with me! I have grown and healed quite a few past traumas since working with her.

I am not one who ever believed in therapy. I always thought how could someone that has not experienced what I am going through actually understand me or help me cope with stress and anxiety. I was stressed with my job and personal problems at home. I always thought it was something I would be able to handle on my own. Which I was, but not in a healthy way. I was consuming alcohol, eating in excess and other issues which led to some health problems. I knew I needed help and decided to give therapy a try and I found Luz. Since the first session I felt very comfortable talking to her and sharing my problems. Luz helped me to cope with my stress, anxiety, and anger by sharing different ways to cope like meditation.

Luz was my therapist when I was younger and I can say that throughout that time she was understanding and very supportive. I was going through a tough time but she really helped me during that time.

Luz is extremely compassionate, caring and understanding. I always felt comfortable when speaking with her. Even if you are new to therapy she eases you into the process and allows you to go at your pace. I've made real positive changes after seeing Luz as my therapist and would recommend her (and have) to anyone who wants to better themselves.
