I had an appointment scheduled on February 14, 2024. I was told to be there at 2:30 and reminded of $25 missed appointment fee if I didn't show up. I arrived early, checked in then waited - for an hour and a half! When I asked about the delay, I was told that my appointment time was really 3:05. There was another patient ahead of me so it would be ANOTHER 30-60 minutes. I told them I couldn't wait 2.5 hours and had to leave.
At home, I sent an email expressing my disappointment at the disrespect that the provider had shown. In response to my email, I got a letter about a $25 missed appt. fee! I called to tell them I would not pay a fee since it was the provider, not me who had missed the appointment. The person I spoke with told me that the actual appt. time was 3:20 so she was actually only 30 minutes late when I left. Why would they make me arrive an hour before the appointment? There was no paperwork to fill out. So disrespectful of the patient’s time.

Marcie Lovett is a wonderful, caring person and I'm lucky to have her taking care of me. Even with a big facility like Rush she cares about each individual patient snd their needs. She is wonderful.
